The next Mojo and Casa Sperantei quiz night is scheduled for May 16, starting 19,00 at Mojo Music Club in Bucharest! The RON 10 entry fee goes to Casa Sperantei.

The Opera and Ballet Theater in Kiev will perform in Bucharest the show “Swan Lake” on May 17, at the Palace Hall in the Romanian capital city, from 19,30.
The ballet, which includes 60 dancers previously performed in Romania the shows, such as ‘The Nutcracker’, ‘Giselle’, among others.

Romanian band Taraf De Haidouks will play in Silver Church club on May 16, bringing the sounds that have captured audience all over the world. The band is known for having collaborated with Yehudi Menuhin, Kronos Quartet, Johnny Depp and Yohji Yamamoto.

A group of expat women in Romania will be holding their third photography exhibition with Romania as the subject at the Crowne Plaza hotel, Bucharest, from May 19 to June 3. Titled ‘Colours of Romania’, the collection of of photographs by 34 women from all around the world celebrates the diversity and vibrancy of Romania’s people and landscapes.

The new National Library headquarters will host the World Press Photo exhibition, which will return to Romania after a 17 year absence. The exhibition will take place between May 17 and June 10 and is organized by the Cultural Foundation EIDOS, founded by Romanian photographer Cristian Movila.
Over 170 internationally awarded photographs will be exhibited in Bucharest. The event is part of an international tour to 45 countries.
