Welcome to the new City Compass online guide – Bucharest, Romania & Beyond!
Now it's easier than ever to browse through the online guide, as we've upgraded and updated it.
Choose the
desired category or sub-category in the menu to the left – we've made everything easier for you with a new structure and more useful information for newcomers.
The new guide covers more of Romania, with new texts about various regions of the country:
Buzau, Moldavia, Maramures, Danube Delta, just to name a few. More than 20 contributors – a balanced mix of expats and Romanians – gave a personal spin to this fourth edition of the guide. We've also included a section dedicated to the
Pipera/Baneasa area of Bucharest, an area where one would find most expats in the Romanian capital city, as well as suggestions to spend your
week-ends in Bucharest.
Most of the information in this online guide can be found in the print edition
City Compass 2012- Bucharest, Romania and Beyond available throughout Romania, at the Inmedio/Relay press network in major Bucharest office buildings and hotels (Opera Center, Sema Park, WTC - Sofitel, Hilton, Victoria Park, Iride Business Center, Rin Hotel) and at the Bucharest Otopeni airport, Cluj, Timisoara and Sibiu airport, as well as in all Carturesti bookshops in Romania, at the Anthony Frost English bookshop, at Grano – Italian Fine Good, at Rue du Pain Bakery and all French Bakeries in Bucharest.
