Things change (slowly) in Pipera. The street Erou Iancu Nicolae still hasn’t been finished after living in Pipera for 3 years, but here and there you can see progress, even though it is not consistent. Mega Image supermarkets are blooming out here (4 up till now), there is a new one in the Jolie Ville Galeria and another “high-tech” one, where you can/must scan the products yourself to speed up your grocery shopping.
The excitement was big when H&M has finally arrived not only in the city center, but also in the Baneasa Shopping Center located in this area. The Grand Cinema Digiplex has also been recently opened within the Baneasa mall.
The new American Embassy headquarter has also been opened in the area, and for sure this will bring some more interesting changes to Pipera/Baneasa.

Studio 80 – a place we have been waiting for in our area. The Mediterranean kitchen is good, service is friendly (even though they could be a bit more attentive sometimes) and the terrace is very pleasant.

Fantastic Indian food with take away and home delivery. The food is excellent and the variety huge (my favorite is their Palak Paneer and Murgh Makkani). Tell them if you don’t like it too spicy!
